     My name is Ruth, I grew up in B.C. I love to be creative in writing poems and stories that usually show how I am feeling. I would like to share with you a little about my background. I am a Christian, I became a Christian around the age of 6 in 1999. ​​​

      Several years later in 2008, I struggled with being​ alone, and the thought of​ suicide seemed to be an option. Somehow I ended up at a Youth Conference in Edmonton, Alberta. Reggie Dabbs was the speaker and he was talking about seizing the day. God used this man to save my life.

      It is 2019, and I do still struggle with depression and anxiety but the difference is I am getting help now. God has been wonderful in keeping me in the palm of His hand all this time. Even in my darkest hour, He has never left me.

       So most of my poems and writings that you will find here are from my heart. I hope they are uplifting and encourage you in your curent area of life.
